Giving Up Would Be Too Easy

So it's my understanding (from my bud Greg) that school started today. That answers my question, " Where the fuck did all these cars come from?". Seriously it was gridlock. Unbeknownst to me...when school is back in session at UT, there is a whole "nuther" population count that comes into the city. something like 75 hundred thousand people sounds about right. With all the overpasses closed due to "the child" or "el nino" winter storms the past few days, everyone hit the streets today. I went to the grocers yesterday to pick up popping corn and then to Hollywood Video and was completely shocked. I had never seen a grocers so barron. I walked in HEB and said "there ain't no damn food up in here!". A lady walking past me heard that and said..." Mmmm Hmmm child, it's baaaad up in this mug". I felt I had a connection with her. More so than the matching house shoes we both had on. I cooked the corn on the stove...and it was nothing short of amazing. My sister and I watched "Little Ms. Sunshine". I think it's the 5th time I've seen it. and i surely could watch it again. Here are some pics... enjoy. OR DON'T. PLEASE BE SAFE ON THE ROADS PEOPLE! SERIOUSLY.
